On Tuesday, 25th August 2026, the lay faithful of St. Stephen Mission Station Bolo-Weme turned out in large numbers to celebrate a triple milestone: 40th anniversary of the Mission Station's existence, the 40th anniversary of service of the Pioneer Catechist, and his retirement. The massive turnout demonstrated their deep concern for the Church and love for their Mission Station. The faithful were urged to carry out their responsibilities with dedication knowing they will one day give account of their service to God. The celebration was graced by the presence of His Lordship, Bishop Agapitus Nfon, Bishop of Kumba, the Parish Priest of St Peter the Rock Ngolo Bolo Rev Fr. Mathias Yuh and the Parochial Vicar, Rev Fr. Metuge Etame. It was indeed a colourful event that strengthened faith, gratitude and unity in the community.
